We are currently offering in person or curbside appointments for wellness, sick, and technician patient visits.

Monday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
Wednesday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
Thursday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
Friday: 8:00am - 5:30pm
Saturday: 9:00am - 1:00pm on select Saturdays, listed below.
Sunday: Closed

We are closed between noon - 1pm Monday through Friday for lunch.

New Client Application:

WVH is currently accepting applications for a limited number of new clients. However, these new clients will not be scheduled for an exam until mid January 2025.

Please email ALL previous records available along with the completed new client application form to reception at frontdesk@wvhcares.com

We ask that you apply by filling out our registration/application form here and send via email along with all of your pet’s medical history. We will be assessing/reviewing these applications on a weekly basis and will contact you if accepted to schedule an appointment. All emergent patients should continue care at their current caregiver or an alternate urgent care or emergency hospital as establish care appointments typically book out about two weeks.

We are requiring a $50 deposit for all new client to hold their appointment. This deposit will be put toward the final total at the end of your appointment. If your appointment is missed or not canceled 48 hours prior to the scheduled time no refund will be provided. If two establish care appointments are scheduled and missed you will no longer be accepted as a new client.

Appointment Policy

Please note that if you arrive more than 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, you may be asked to reschedule.

We know your time is valuable, and we make every attempt to see you promptly at your scheduled time. During business hours, emergency cases are seen immediately when needed and always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable.

Missed appointment policy

We require advance notice for all appointment cancellations to allow the veterinarians maximum availability for their patients. If existing clients cancel their appointment less than 24 hours before it takes place they will be subject to a $50 fee (this includes any missed/no show appointments). This fee must be paid prior to future office visits.

New clients are required to cancel appointments 48 hours prior to scheduled time. In addition, new clients who miss a second appointment will not be permitted to schedule future appointments.

Patient Arrival Policy

For the safety of all animals in our care, we require that all of our patients' rabies vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings, and other pets. To ensure the safety of you, your pet, and our other clients, all dogs must be kept on a leash while in the waiting area and all cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, CareCredit, cash and personal checks.


Privacy Policy

Washtenaw Veterinary Hospital recognizes the importance of protecting the personal privacy of its clients and its patients. Your privacy is also protected in our hospital.  At no time is any information given out about the client or the pet without the consent of the owner.
