Hi, my name is Terri and I have worked for WVH since 2005. I have over 25 years of experience working in the veterinary field both as a receptionist and a technician. I enjoy small animal and exotic medicine but would also love the opportunity to work with zoo or marine animals someday. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my Umbrella Cockatoo "Sidney", traveling, thrift store shopping, and scrapbooking.
Hi, my name is Shelbi. I have been working in the veterinary field on and off for the past few years as both an assistant and receptionist while finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. I have a passion for animals, especially cats, as well as providing clients with a comfortable experience. Outside the hospital I enjoy coaching volleyball, traveling, and playing fetch with my cat Meeko.
Hi, my name is Trish. I began working in the veterinary field in 1981 and have been working with small animals ever since. Throughout my career, I have worked with various practices, all of which have enhanced my love of animals. I truly enjoy all aspects of working in a veterinary practice from educating clients to working directly with the patients as a technician. My favorite part of the job is working one-on-one with the diverse array of animals we get to see on a regular basis. I very much enjoy preparing for and monitoring patients during surgery. In my spare time, I like spending time outdoors, going camping and fishing, and spending time with my family and my cat "OP".
Hello, my name is Kristin. I have my B.A. in Psychology and my first career was in the human mental health field. After my second son started kindergarten, I went back to school and received my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology from Macomb Community College in 2009. While I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, I especially enjoy dentistry, preparing animals for surgery, and working to provide less stressful visits for our kitty patients. At home, I'm the proud mom to my two teenage sons Ben and Matthew, our two cats, Sushi and Tate, and a beagle named Darwin.
Hi, my name is Jessica and I joined the practice during the summer of 2016. I have 15 years of experience in the veterinary field, most recently working as a veterinary technician in several veterinary emergency and specialty practices in Michigan, Vermont, and New Hampshire. I have a particular interest in internal medicine and critical care nursing. When I’m not at the hospital, I enjoy running, hiking, horseback riding, acrylic painting, and spending free time with my partner Andrew and our dog Mani, cat Steve, and Bearded Dragon Yoshi.
Hi, my name is Alyssa and I recently moved to Michigan from Houston, Texas. I am currently working on a Biology undergrad at the University of Michigan – Dearborn, and plan on attending vet school after graduation. In the future I would love to work with small or exotic animals. I am so excited to be a part of such an amazing team here at WVH! In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling and hanging out with my family and friends.
